On 4th July 2011 I travelled down the road to Southgate where I met a few other people. From the meeting point we walked over towards Three Cliffs Bay, some perhaps going a little too close to the cliff edge.
The light was unmistakably outstanding and the very talented photographer, Neil Collier, who was leading the walk, was able to offer a magnitude of great advice and to my amazement was able to specify very closely when the clouds would enhance the light on the landscape.
I know the image below may be a bit messy in composition and perhaps not perfect in the eyes of a more experienced photographer, but I think it gives you an idea of how lucky we were to be at the right place, at the right time.
Cast your eye to the little beach that has the waves crashing in towards it. This is called Pobbles. It is a little treasure in the heart south Gower. I hope you enjoy the image
